One of the strengths of the Homecare Homebase system is the flexibility, customization and assignment of workflow tasks to any group within an organization. When it comes to standardizing education offerings, we realized this customization can create some challenges. That is why we developed a framework to create training surrounding different operations within the system that relate to specific patient or business needs. While there are many things you do for a patient outside the system, these relate to specifically working within HCHB.
Each of our System Operation courses includes 3 levels of competency:

- Level 1 is a process overview of the operation, where it falls within the patient lifecycle, the responsibilities it has for the organization including major CMS requirements, and how it interacts with other operations.
- Level 2 is knowledge of the ins and outs of the workflow that falls under the operations purview, as well as interaction with any ancillary product or interfaces that impact the operation.
- Level 3 is the Subject Matter Expert in the operation who has complete knowledge of best practices, system settings, and periphery reports for the Operation. They not only know the requirements of their role but the how and why their operation performs the way it does within HCHB.
