About this Training

Are you wanting a deeper understanding of HCHB's Volunteer Services system operation?  If so, then this course is for you!  Volunteer Services encompasses tracking and coordination of volunteers providing nonbillable compassion services for the hospice patient, family, or care organization. Volunteers assist the organization in a hundred different ways from patient companion services to mailing bereavement letters, to making grocery runs. It takes a community to support your patients and their families, and your volunteers are one of things that makes Hospice truly unique. That is why we have broken down the most basic steps through problem-solving and troubleshooting Volunteer Services-specific issues in our on-demand course. The aim of this course is to make a Volunteer Services expert out of you!  This training is on-demand and therefore, self-managed.  The levels are comprised of various multimedia elements including videos, text, interactive images, and knowledge checks.  In total, the course will take around an hour  to complete from start to finish.  You will have access to the on-demand course for six months after registration.
